Dr. Pen Microneedling with Platelet Rich Plasma

Microneedling with Platelet Rich Plasma is a cosmetic procedure that combines microneedling where tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin-with the application of PRP derived from the patients own blood. This treatment aims to stimulate collagen production, enhance skin texture, reduce scars and promote overall skin rejuvenation. PRP is very healing and results by delivering growth factors directly to the treated area.

PRP Under Eye Rejuvenation

PRP under eye rejuvenation is a cosmetic procedure that uses a patient's own blood to enhance the appearance of the under eye area. During the treatment, a small amount of blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors and are packed with over 2.8 trillion exosomes in each vial. The PRP is then injected into the under-eye region to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and reduce dark circles and fine lines The procedure is minimally invasive, typically requires little downtime, and can result in a more youthful and revitalized look.

Hair restoration with Platelet Rich Plasma

Hair restoration with PRP involves injecting platelet rich plasma from the patients blood into the scalp to stimulate hair growth, improve hair density and slow down hair loss by enhancing the health of hair follicle, we recommend pairing this treatment with taking a hair supplement that we provide in our clinic called Nutrafol.

PRP Therapy Enhancements

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) / Platelet-Fibrin Rich (PFR) Treatment

Unlock your skin’s natural potential with our advanced Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Fibrin Rich (PFR) treatments. These innovative, non-surgical therapies harness the power of your own body's healing properties to rejuvenate and restore your skin, leaving you with a fresher, more youthful appearance. What is PRP/PFR? PRP therapy involves drawing a small amount of your blood and processing it to isolate the platelets and growth factors. This nutrient-rich serum is then strategically injected into targeted areas of your skin, promoting collagen production, enhancing elasticity, and accelerating tissue repair. PFR takes this a step further by creating a fibrin matrix that slowly releases growth factors, providing longer-lasting rejuvenation.

PRP Procedure

How Can I Prepare for PRP Injections?

To prepare for PRP treatment, stop taking steroid medications at least three weeks before your first injection. In the week before your treatment, avoid NSAIDs and herbal supplements that thin the blood. Staying hydrated, especially on the day of your injection, is essential for the best results.

PRP Injection Therapy Procedure Process

The procedure begins with your doctor drawing of blood, which is than placed in a spinner to separate the blood and the plasma (platelet rich plasma) once ready the PRP is injected into the treatment area, after the injection you may experience some swelling, puffiness and bruising this is completely normal. We always recommend staying well hydrated before and after the PRP procedure to help optimize results and minimize any potential concerns. Proper hydration can enhance circulation and support the healing process, ensuring that the growth factors in the PRP work effectively. Drinking plenty of water can also help reduce the risk of bruising and swelling, leading to a smoother recovery and more satisfying outcomes.
